he last book that affected me like this was Celestine Prophecy. Whoever enjoyed reading that, will want this. And what's even better about it is that this book is non-fiction!"

Honoring The Hermit: Seeing Through The Illusion Of Separateness guides the reader toward establishing contact with their "true-Selves" by accessing that connection to Higher Consciousness referred to as the "Higher Self", and which Rebecca Holdorf calls the Hermit. It is through cultivating that awareness of a Wise One existing at some deeper level within each of us that we are enabled to reassess our situations from a higher perspective so that every experience, emotion, and relationship takes on new meaning. Our lives are reframed in crystalline clarity as they emerge from beneath layers of defensiveness and ego-preservation. Recommended reading for truth seekers and anyone seeking self-knowledge, self-fulfillment, and self-improvement, the technique offered in Honoring The Hermit can penetrate self-defensiveness to reveal the jewel that is our innermost self, enabling us to craft and create a better, more self-enlightened, self-imaged, and spiritually personal future.

HONORING THE HERMIT:

Seeing through the Illusion of Separateness

by Rebecca A. Holdorf

Why am I here? What is my purpose? Is that all there is? Why do I feel unfulfilled? Who is my true-self? Do these questions sound familiar to you? Author Rebecca Holdorf asked herself many of these same questions...and discovered the means to answer them...and change her life. Now she shares this so we may help ourselves, too.

Honoring the Hermit reveals how to look deep within ourselves and discern the answers to these questions, and many more. “We live in an illusion--elaborately designed and executed; exquisitely detailed with sensual delights and disgusts, but still an illusion we willingly adopt for role playing purposes.” Rebecca found out how to access the level of conscious, Honoring the Hermit, the Wise One, the Source of Certainty that exists within.”

We learn a basic philosophy...view the world, listen to the world, smell the world, taste the world, touch the world as only YOU...not anyone else. In other words, increase the awareness of yourself. When you do that, you peel away all the layers heaped upon you by others...and reveal your own core...your own true-self.

The way to do that is to be a participant...a player in life. To do that is to reach out and find that you are really reaching in...to your own true-self and the discovery that your own true-self is Spirit, God, Creator, Higher Self...pick the name with which you are comfortable. In this reviewer’s opinion, the path to peace is found in this insightful book.

Honoring the Hermit is written by a student of life. Rebecca Holdorf references not only her personal experiences, but the wisdom she found in the writings of many authors, from Rosemary Altea to Gary Zukov. Further, Honoring the Hermit is well-written, focused though often humorous, moving and filled with love. Rebecca has given us “A remarkable odyssey of true-self discovery”!
