Aged manure drizzles through my fingers. My muscles and a wooden rake recycle waste into a life base.
Loam creeps over my bare feet and between my toes. I roll naked side to side like a dog scrubbing the dead winter skin away.
Grounded, I reemerge. My taproot sprouts a new stem through a topsoil better than gold. |
